• <br />• <br />• <br />Council Member Stoltz introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07 -63 <br />SUPPORTING ANOKA COUNTY FEDERAL FUNDING APPLICATION FOR <br />IMPROVEMENTS TO COUNTY ROAD J /CSAH 49 INTERSECTION <br />WHEREAS, Ash Street, in the City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota is Anoka County Road J <br />and is designated as an A Minor Arterial; and <br />WHEREAS, Hodgson Road, in the City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota is Anoka County State <br />Aid Highway 49 and is designated as an A Minor Arterial; and <br />WHEREAS, the intersection of CR J and CSAH 49 is currently experiencing growing <br />congestion and safety problems; and <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County is proposing to reconstruct the intersection to include turn <br />lanes and signalization. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City of Lino Lakes endorses Anoka <br />County's application for Federal Transportation Funds and fully supports the <br />construction of said project. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the City of Lino Lakes, in cooperation with Anoka <br />County, is committed to procuring local (non - federal funds) match funds of a least 20 <br />percent of the construction costs required as part of the Federal Transportation Grant <br />program. <br />-Man e Bartell, Cii Clerk <br />`� J. Be <br />Jo h <br />gesi' , Mayor <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 23rd day of April 2007. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Carlson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />Stoltz, Carlson, O'Donnell, Reinert, Bergeson <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />5 <br />
