70
July 15, 1981
The Council attempted to answer the questions on the cards, but members of
the audience wished to speak. Mayor Gourley asked that persons repre-
senting group of persons limit their remarks to five minutes and in-
dividuals limit their remarks to two minutes. This would insure that
anyone who wished to speak would have an opportunity.
Testimony from the audience was given. Mayor Gourley asked three
times if there was anyone else who wished to speak and there was no one.
Mayor Gourley asked the Clerk to read the letters - both pro and con -
that had been received in the office concerned with this project, which
she did.
The Council members were asked if they had questions and /or comments
individually.
Mr. McLean asked if the Attorney had checked the front footage on the
petitions and he sad he had not. Mr. McLean moved to have the Attorney
certify the front footage on the petition. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewica.
Motion carried unanimously.
After all comments had been made, Mayor Gourley said the Council will
take all testimony under advisement and make a decision at a later date.
Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 11:40 P.M. Seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter.
Motion carried unanimously.
These minutes were considered and approved as presented at a regular
Council meeting held on September 28, 1981.
Edna L.
