98 <br />Council Meeting <br />October 26, 1981 <br />Mayor Gourley moved to authorize the Attorney to submit these questions <br />to the Supreme Court. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz questioned the wisdon of spending more money. Mr. <br />Jaworski reminded Mr. Kulaszewicz that the sewer priject is dead, this is <br />an attempt to try to reestablish this City in the bond market. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz asked the cost involved in taking this matter to the <br />Supreme Court and Mr. Locher said, approximately $5,000.00. <br />Mr. Ross asked if there was any legal assurance when this City will be <br />on the agenda for the Supreme Court and Mr. Locher said, there was none. <br />Mr. Ross said he understood they have a pretty full agenda, is that <br />correct? Mr. Locher said, that was correct, however, if the Judge cer- <br />tifies it and states that it is pressing issue, they (the Supreme Court) <br />may gove the City preference, but he has no assurance that this will <br />happen. <br />Mr. Ross felt this should have been thought out very clearly before the <br />City got into this istuation. <br />Mayor Gourely asked if there was any other l.isucssion and there was none. <br />The question was put for a vote and the motion carried with Mr. McLean <br />and Mr. Kulaszewicz voting, No. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn. Seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />These minutes were considered and approved as presented at a regular <br />meeting held on November 16, 1981. <br />dna L. arner, Clerk - Treasurer <br />Novmber 5, 1981 <br />The Special Meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order <br />at 7:05 P.M., on November 5, 1981, by Acting Mayor Elsenpeter. Members <br />present: Kulaszewicz, McLean. Absent; Gourley, Jaworski. <br />This meeting was called to canvass the results of the City Election held <br />on November 3, 1981. <br />The Clerk Reported the following results: <br />For the Office of Mayor <br />Ina Liljedahl <br />Benjamin Benson <br />Harvey Karth <br />Ken Gourley <br />For the Office of Council Member <br />160 votes <br />956 Votes <br />328 Votes <br />13 votes <br />John McLean 494 Votes <br />1 <br />1 <br />
