242 <br />Council Meeting <br />September 13, 1982 <br />explaining this would not involve blue prints -- just a consultation. Mr. Marier <br />moved to authorize the Park Board to talk with draftsman to get cost figures. <br />Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Task Force Update - Mr. Schumacher reported on the progress of this board and noted <br />that a thorough job is being done on the updating of the ordinance to implement the <br />land use plan. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Conformance to State Auditor's recommendations - Mr. Schumacher noted that the State <br />Auditor had felt the expense checks were not legal and suggested that this be made a <br />part of the regular salary effective January 1, 1984. Mr. Schumacher pointed out this <br />must be done by this Council but cannot become effective until after the next City <br />election but this would indicate that the City is conforming to the State Auditor's <br />recommendations. <br />Mr. Marier moved to authorize the City Administrator to write an amendment to the <br />Salary ordinance implementing this issue. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />PCA Sludge Permit - Centerville had requested the City join them in their attempt <br />to control the spreading of the sludge in the Lino Lakes /Centerville area. Mr. Hawkins <br />noted that he is preparing a statement for the City of Centerville. Mr. Reinert <br />moved that Lino Lakes join Centerville in this effort and Mr. Hawkins prepare a like <br />statement for the City of Lino Lakes. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to adjourn. at 10:50 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Aye. <br />LO?LJ <br />Edna L. Sarner, Clerk- Treasurer <br />
