July 9, 1984 <br />On the vote, Mr. Marier and Mr. Kulaszewicz vote aye, Mr. Bohjanen <br />and Mr. Reinert voted, nay, Mayor Benson obstained. Motion failed. <br />265 <br />Mr. Schumacher said he is in the process of setting up standards for <br />this type of request. Mayor Benson suggested that they be informed <br />that the Council is not taking any action at this time and if they wish <br />to pursue this further they can come before the Council on July 23, 1984. <br />c. Establish Date for Summary Audit Review - This will be placed on <br />the July 23, 1984 agenda. <br />d. Centennial Community Education Committee Appointment - This will be <br />placed on the July 23, 1984 agenda. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Consideration of Leasing City Property to Cable TV - Mr. Schumacher <br />wanted to let the Council know the cable TV people are looking at <br />several parcels both public and private for the purpose of constructing <br />a cable TV tower. <br />Mayor Benson asked Mr. Schumacher to report back to the Council and let <br />them know what parcels are being negotiated on, and what standards are <br />being considered. <br />b. Margaret Langfeld's Request for Representative to Anoka County <br />Solid Waste Management Advisory Committee - Mayor Benson noted that <br />on Tuesday, June 26, 1984, Mr. Reinert was appointed to this board. <br />' <br />I <br />Mayor Benson has asked the City Assessor to appear at a future meeting <br />to discuss how she will be cover the City in the next couple of years <br />so the Council will have a little better understanding of what is going <br />one. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to adjourn at 10:40 P.M. Mr. Marier seconded the <br />motion.
