These are areas which, because of availability to thorough- <br />fares, suitable topography, and isolation, are appropriate for indus- <br />trial uses of a more intense nature and ones which may have certain <br />nuisance characteristics. <br />025'i <br />In the Light and General Industrial Districts all signs must comply <br />with the following: <br />1. Area Identification: <br />a. Pylon sign up to four hundred (400) square feet per <br />side of sign area. <br />b. Not to exceed building height limit of zone. <br />c. Minimum of twenty (20) foot setback from property line. <br />2. Business Identification: <br />a Sign area of all business signs on a site equals three <br />(3) square feet per lineal foot of lot frontage, or <br />three hundred (300) square feet, or twenty -five percent <br />(25 %) of the wall area on which the sign is placed, <br />whichever is greater. <br />b. Minimum twenty (20) foot setback from property line. <br />3. Advertising Signs: <br />a. Observe minimum building setback line or twenty (20) <br />foot setback, whichever is greater. <br />b. Not to exceed building height limit of the zone. <br />c. Must not be within seven hundred fifty (750) radius <br />feet of an existing residential structure or other ad- <br />vertising structure in a non - freeway area. <br />d. Must not be closer than seven hundred fifty (750) <br />radius feet to another advertising structure. Shall not <br />be closer than twelve hundred (1200) feet to ,onother <br />such advertising structure on the same side of an <br />interstate freeway. For the purpose of this Ordinance, <br />a back -to -back or V -type sign shall -be considered as <br />one structure. <br />e. Must comply with the General Regulations. Section IV. <br />
