1 <br />1 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />February 25, 1985 <br />Page Eleven <br />NOW THEREFORE, I Benjamin G. Benson, by virtue of the authority <br />vested in me as Mayor of Lino Lakes, hereby proclaim March <br />10 through March 16, 1985, as Girl Scout Week in Lino Lakes. <br />I do further call upon all citizens of Lino Lakes to recognize <br />and support the contributions made by Girl Scouts and adult <br />volunteers toward improving the quality of life in our <br />community. <br />D. Annual City Newsletter - Mr. Schumacher told the Council <br />the office will be sending out its annual mailing soon. <br />This mailing will include septic system inspection material, <br />newsletter, excerpts from the Mayor's State of the City <br />address, the City Directory and anything else the Council <br />feels important to be sent to the residents. Mayor Benson <br />recommended that any Councilmember, staff or Board member <br />who has anything to be included should contact the City <br />Administrator. <br />E. PCA Permit for W & G Rehbein - The Council has received <br />a letter from PCA wherein they have issued a permit to <br />W & G Rehbein for the purpose of landspreading municipal <br />sewage sludge to supply nutrients and organic matter for <br />soil enrichment on'their own land in Lino Lakes. Mr. Marier <br />asked if it was their policy to contact the City after <br />the permit was issued. Mr. Schumacher said normally if <br />the City makes a negative declaration they are required <br />to hold a public hearing. Mr. Marier felt the Council <br />should be notified before the permit is issued. <br />Mr. Marier moved to send a letter to PCA to ask they notify <br />the City Council prior to issuing any permit. Mr. Kulaszewicz <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />F. Letter from Anoka County Board Resolution Regarding Anoka <br />County Transportation Advisory Committee - Mayor Benson <br />asked this letter be copied and sent to all Councilmembers. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to adjourn.
