244 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />December 23, 1985 <br />Page Twenty Three <br />The Council meeting was reconvened at 11:10 P.M. by Mayor Benson. <br />All Council members, Mr. Schumacher and Mr. Hawkins were present. <br />Mayor Benson told the clerk that the Council unanimously chose <br />to continue the Council meeting in closed session. <br />Mayor Benson noted that the probationary period for Police Chief <br />Campbell is scheduled to end December 26, 1985. Mr. Reinert moved <br />to extend the probationary periof for Chief Campbell for a period <br />of 90 days, with the Council providing some specifics relative <br />to his performance and at the end of that period an evaluation <br />be made. The 90 -day period will begin at the time Chief Campbell <br />receives the information from the Council. Mr. Bohjanen seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to adjourn at 11:12 P.M. Mr. Bohjanen <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />These minutes were considered and approved by a regular Council <br />meeting on January 13, 1986. <br />Maf i <br />7. <br />.
