• <br />Council Member Reinert moved for adoption of the following resolution: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07- 85 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC <br />HEARING — SHENANDOAH STREET, STORM SEWER, AND WATERMAIN <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions of the Council adopted May 14, 2007, a study has <br />been prepared by the City Engineer, with reference to Shenandoah Area Improvement <br />Project for Rice Court from Totem Trail to cul -de -sac, Hokah Court from Hokah Drive to <br />cul -de -sac, Hokah Drive from Totem Trail to Birch Street, Totem Trail from Arrowhead <br />Drive to Birch Street, Arrowhead Drive from Ware Road to 550 feet East of Totem Trail <br />by constructing street, storm sewer, watermain, and this report was received by the <br />Council on June 11, 2007, and <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost - effective, and feasible, <br />WHEREAS, the City proposes to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota States, Chapter 429, and Chapter 8 of <br />the Lino Lakes City Charter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />• LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The City Engineer is designated as the engineer for this improvement and he is <br />directed to call for a public hearing for the Shenandoah Area Street, Storm Sewer, <br />and Watermain Improvement project. <br />2. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the <br />report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the <br />improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost <br />of the improvement of $2,156,635.00. <br />3. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the <br />Stn day of July, 2007 in the Council chambers of the City Hall at 6:30 p.m. and the <br />clerk shall give mailed and publishecj notice of such aring and improvement as <br />required by law. <br />ulian le Bartell, Cit Clerk <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 11th day of June, 2007. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />MemberCarlson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Reinert, Carlson, Stoltz, O'Donnell <br />The following voted against same: <br />none mayor Bergeson abstained() <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />n J.
