• <br />• <br />Council Membeical'"on introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07 -90 <br />APPROVING ISSUANCE OF A SOLICTOR LICENSE TO PRO ALARM <br />WHEREAS, Jacob Schmalz, Manager of Pro Alarm (a company marketing <br />Honeywell home protection systems) and eleven marketing agents of Pro Alarm <br />have submitted an application for a solicitor license to the city clerk's office; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have complied with all of the provisions of Chapter <br />612 of the Lino Lakes City Code for obtaining a license for a profit business; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have been provided with a copy of Chapter 612 of the <br />Lino Lakes City Code and have agreed to comply with the regulations for <br />maintaining a license; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department has completed the required <br />background investigations and has found no reason to deny the license; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />The City of Lino Lakes hereby adopts Resolution No. 07 -90 approving issuance <br />of a solicitor license to Pro Alarm, to be effective for a six -month period <br />commencing upon passage of this resolution. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 25th day of June, 2007. <br />a e Bartell, C' y erk <br />Jeff O'Donnell, Acting Mayor <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council MemberReinert and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br />Carlson, Reinert, O'Donnell <br />The following voted against said resolution: <br />none <br />Absent - Bergeson, Stoltz <br />
