Council Member Carlson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />• adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07 -114 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CLASSIFICATION OF TAX FORFEIT <br />PROPERTY AND REQUESTING PARCELS BE WITHHELD FROM SALE <br />WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board of Commissioners has prepared a list, <br />designated as Classification List Number 2007 which describes land forfeited to <br />the State of Minnesota pursuant to Chapter 282 of the Minnesota Statutes, and <br />has determined that it is advisable to sell said land; and, <br />WHEREAS, four (4) properties are located within Lino Lakes listed as: <br />Parcel No. 18- 31 -22 -41 -0007 <br />Parcel No. 24- 31 -22 -42 -0005 <br />• Parcel No. 25- 31 -22 -41 -0081. <br />Parcel No. 25- 31 -22 -44 -0046. <br />are included in the Classification List; and, <br />• <br />WHEREAS, the Anoka County Land Commissioner has requested the Lino <br />Lakes City Council approve classification and sale of the parcels; and <br />WHEREAS, said properties are part of the City's public stormwater conveyance <br />system, park system and open space system and are intended for public use. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The classification of the parcels are hereby approved and that that the City <br />respectfully requests the County Board withhold said properties from sale <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that city staff is hereby authorized and directed to <br />notify the Anoka County Land Commissioner that the City would like to obtain <br />title to the property for public purposes. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of August, 2007. <br />
