Goals, Objectives, Management Action Plan: 2007 -2008 <br />Listed below are the revised goals established by the City Council for the period 2008 <br />through 2013 and specific performance objectives for the remainder of Calendar Year <br />2007 and Calendar Year 2008, as established at the march 28, 2007 goals setting session. <br />As in the past, staff has added proposed action steps and has identified lead parties, <br />contributors and funding sources for your consideration. <br />1. Complete Town Center <br />A. Calendar Year 2007 & 2008 <br />(1) Objective: Complete development of owner and rental housing <br />component over five -year period <br />(2) Objective: Complete development of commercial component over <br />five -year period <br />a. Key Action Steps: <br />i. Aggressively market and continue to support developers' <br />marketing efforts. <br />b. Lead party: Community Development Staff <br />Key Contributors: Hartford Development <br />c. Funding Source: General Fund. Primarily Staff Time <br />2. Plan for and implement needed local regional transportation <br />improvements <br />A. Calendar Year 2007 <br />(1) Objective: Pursue funding for local transportation improvements for: <br />1) 49/J Intersection; 2) Lake Drive /Main Street Intersection; and 3) <br />Northerly bypass (Main St - 35W to 35E) <br />a. Key Action Steps: <br />i. Support Anoka County applications for obtaining Federal <br />Funding <br />ii. Continue working with Anoka County on planning efforts <br />b. Lead party: Community Development Staff <br />Key Contributors: City Council <br />Anoka County <br />Springsted Inc. <br />Finance Department <br />c. Funding Source: General Fund. Primarily Staff Time <br />
