• <br />• <br />Council Member Stoltz <br />its adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07-159 <br />APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES <br />FOR NOVEMBER 6, 2007 MUNICIPAL ELECTION <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council met at its regularly scheduled meeting of <br />October 8, 2007; and <br />WHEREAS, a Municipal Election will be held on November 6, 2007; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.20, election judges shall be appointed <br />to serve in an election precinct and the appointing authority shall designate <br />one of the judges to serve as the head election judge; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.21, a roster of trained certified judges <br />was prepared from lists of eligible voters provided by the major political <br />parties and from previous rosters; and <br />WHEREAS, the appointments shall be made at least 25 days before the election at <br />which the election judges will serve. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the named persons on the attached list <br />of certified eligible voters are hereby appointed to serve as election judges and head <br />election judges for the 2007 Municipal Election if called upon to do so. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 8th day of October, 2007. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Carl Son and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />Stoltz, Carlson, O'Donnell, Reinert, Bergeson <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and ado <br />ATTEST: <br />- -!eso ,'Mayor <br />
