• <br />Council Member Stoltz introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption:' <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07-163 <br />APPROVING ISSUANCE OF OFF SALE LIQUOR LICENSE <br />FOR LAKES LIQUOR <br />(TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP) <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes met at its regularly <br />scheduled meeting on October 8, 2007, and; <br />WHEREAS, the city has been informed that Lakes Liquor, located at 7860 Lake <br />Drive, will come under new ownership; <br />WHEREAS, the transfer of an intoxicating liquor license can only be <br />accomplished by application for a new license; <br />WHEREAS, Lakes Liquor, Inc, has applied for a liquor license. <br />WHEREAS, the Police Department of the City of Lino Lakes has conducted an <br />• investigation of the applicants, and; <br />WHEREAS, Lakes Liquor is in compliance with City Code Section 701 <br />Concerning Liquor Licensing, and qualifies for such license and; <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has provided proof of insurance as required and paid <br />the necessary fees; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes hereby approves an Off -Sale liquor license for Lakes Liquor, subject to all <br />the fees, provisions and conditions of the laws of the city, state and of the federal <br />government. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 8th day of October, 2007. <br />ATTEST: <br />Bartell, • ity erk <br />The mo ion for r e adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member Carlson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: Stoltz, Carlson, O'Donnell, Bergeson, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
