CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14-51 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS FOR WELL CONSTRUCTION OF WELL NO. 6. <br />WHEREAS, In accordance with the Water System Comprehensive Plan, construction of <br />Well No. 6 is recommended to accommodate the City's water demand; and <br />WHEREAS, the location of Well No. 6 will be located adjacent to Birch Park on property <br />acquired within "The Preserve" development; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Kurt Johnson of Stantec Consulting Services Inc., shall perform such <br />services; and <br />WHEREAS, the City proposes to use Trunk Area & Unit funds for all of the cost of the <br />improvements, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. Stantec Consulting Services Inc., is authorized to prepare the Plans and Specifications <br />for the Well Construction of Well No. 6 for costs not to exceed $24,600. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 9th day of June, 2014. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council <br />Member <br />and was duly seconded by Council Member and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
