CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14-73 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PROFFESIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH <br />CNH ARCHITECTS FOR FIRE HOUSE NO. 2 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 14-50, adopted June 2, 2014, by the Lino Lakes City <br />Council, the City has solicited proposals for architectural and engineering services for the design <br />of Fire House No. 2. and <br />WHEREAS, the services shall include the following: <br />1. Site Location services <br />2. Programming and Schematic Design <br />3. Design Development <br />4. Preparation of Construction Documents <br />5. Bidding Services <br />6. Contract Administration <br />;and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best interests of the city to proceed <br />with these services to allow for opening of the new station by January, 2016. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. CNH Architects is hereby designated as the architect for this improvement. <br />2. City staff is authorized to execute a professional services agreement with CNH Architects, in <br />the amount of $129,000 plus reimbursable expenses. Such agreement shall be subject to <br />review and approval by the City Attorney. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of June, 2014. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />and was duly seconded by Council Member and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
