October 22, 1979 <br />use permit to Mr. Richard Klenck to operate a contract hauling business <br />from his home on Rolling Hills Drive, with the parking and storing of <br />two dump trucks only, to go in and out empty, with an annual review of <br />this special use permit to be on July 1st of each year and this special <br />use permti to be non = transferrable and be issued to Mr. Richard Klenck <br />only. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />..Mr. Balin had requested a variance to transfer title on a parcel of <br />land of less than 2 acres. This is in conjunction with Mr. Ellision's <br />property at the end of Deer Pass Trail. P &Z had recommended approval. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve this variance. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. <br />Motion declared passed. <br />There wer two preliminary plats that were considered, but more information <br />was needed on both - they will be rescheduled. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz had no police report. <br />Mr. Locher reported on the status of Mr. Kirschbaum. It appears that his <br />doctor says he may be able to return to work but doesn't say when, in <br />what capacity nor for how long. <br />The Council's position was to wait for the conclusion of the grievance <br />filed with the Union. <br />There was black dirt being removed from the Paul property by Anoka County. <br />This had been stopped by Mr. Mobley; Mr. Locher had contacted the Anoka <br />County Attorney's office and there will be a proposal from that office <br />for consideration at the November 12, 1979 Council meeting. Mr. Gotwald <br />is to be contacted immediately on this matter. <br />Mr. Gotwald felt this City should consider some sort of Ordinance govern- <br />ing the filling of lands - such as has been ahppening on Lake Drive near <br />the Weedshed. Chief Myjre said that operation had been tagged by the <br />Anoka County Health Department. This matter should also be reported to <br />the DNR since wet lands are involved. <br />The City Council should also consider adopting a 'Developer's Agreement'. <br />This provides a check list for the developers setting forth all things <br />that;'must be done in the development. Mr. Gotwald will supply a copy <br />for this. <br />Mr. Gunder Gunderson, Janitor, had submitted his resignation effective <br />November 1, 1979. Mr. McLean moved to accept this resignation. Seconded <br />by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />The Clerk was instructed to write a letter of appreciation to Mr. Gunderson. <br />Mr. McLean suggested that thiw work be handled by Mr. Volk - he is to <br />work this out with his currenc staff. <br />The Clerk was instructed to put an ad in the papers for a Recording Clerk. <br />Mayor Karth reminded the Council of the Open House for Mr. Schumacher <br />and his wife on Friday, Oct. 26, 1979 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. There is <br />also a "Meet your Candidate" evening at the City Hall on Thursday, <br />Oct, 25, 1979. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve requisition #930. Seconded by Mr. <br />Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve checks #10068 through and including #10086. <br />
