34 <br />November 13, 1979 <br />Mr. Schneider amended the minutes of November 7, 1979 to include a salary <br />range for the building inspector of 15/18,000. Mr. Zelinka moved to <br />approve as corrected. Seconded by Mr. Schneider. Motion declared passed. <br />The scheduled hearing on the hunting ordinance was called to order at <br />8:30 P.M. Mr. Gotwald had prepared a map outlining the areas that owners <br />have expressed their wishes to be kept closed. He had also located all <br />the homes and outlined the Anoka County Open Space. <br />There was general discussion on the reasons why this area had been closed <br />and the new law on treaspassing was questioned. Mr. Locher left the <br />meeting to check on this law. <br />1 <br />Mr. Paul Johnson of Counselor Realty, the firm platting Pine Oaks, appeared <br />before the Council to request a 60 day extension for the filing of that plat. <br />Delay had been caused by incorrect legal description received from the <br />pipeline company on the easement which crosses this property and due to <br />delayed action by the Rice Creek Watershed Board. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve a 60 day extension for the filing of this <br />plat. Seconded by MR. Zelinka. Motion declared passed. <br />The Peltier View plat of W &G Rehbein had been scheduled but material had <br />not been received from Rice Creek Watershed Board, therefore, no action <br />could be takem. Mr. McLean moved to continue this hearing unitl written <br />material is received from the Rice Creek Watershed Board. Seconded by Mr. <br />Zelinka. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Marier asked that all persons who had petitioned against this plat be <br />notified when this plat is to be heard - the Council agreed to this. <br />Mr. Locher returned with the new treaspass law referring to hunters, <br />making it mandatory to have written permission to hunt on agricultural <br />lands. There was discussion on the pro's and con's of leaving this area <br />closed or opening a portion of the land. Cheif Myhre said opening a por- <br />tion of the land would make enforcement almost impossible. <br />Mr. Schneider moved to retain the boundaries as they are presently out- <br />lined in the Ordinance. He had heard nothing that would indicate a change <br />is warranted. Seconded by MR. Zelinka. Motion declared passed with Mr. <br />Kulaszewicz voting, NO. <br />The Clerk presented the following items for Council consideration: <br />..Municipal fines for the month of October were $1232.50; <br />..Mary Alice Anderson, of the Lino Elementary Parents Club had requested <br />a Turkey Bingo permit for November 16, 1979 from 7 to 9 P.M. Mr. McLean <br />moved to approve this request. Seconded by Mr. Karth. Motion declared <br />passed. <br />..Mrs. Pat Winter had reqeusted to use the Hall for a 4H Christmas Parth <br />on Friday, December 14, 1979 at 7:30 P.M. The use of the Hall by the Lino <br />Lioness' Club on December 15, 1979 has already been approved and they will <br />set up their decorations on Friday, the 14th. Mr. McLean moved to approve <br />this use providing Mrs. Winter will choose another date. Seconded by Mr. <br />Kulaszewciz. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Schneider gave a brief financial reprot. All Council members have a <br />copy of the report. <br />Mr. Zelinka requested Mr. schumacher to invest all dedicated Park funds at <br />the highest rate money market notes as soon as possible. Mr. Schneider was <br />
