1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />December 10, 1979 <br />43 <br />Mr, Zelinka moved to deny the zoning on Block 3 of the plat. Seconded <br />by Mr. Schneider. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. McLean moved to close the hearing at 10:15 P.M. Seconded by Mr. <br />Zelinka. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Locher reported that the matter of Mr. Donald Holzmer's home had been <br />completed. All that is necessary is the variance to the ceiling height <br />in the basement area. This can be done by variance. <br />Mr. McLean moved to grant a variance for the difference in height require- <br />ment for the basement area, this variance to be filed with the County <br />Recorder to become a part of the abstract. Seconded by MR. Zelinka. <br />Motion declared passed. <br />The Forest Tagg matter is scheduled for trial Wednesday, December 12, 1979 <br />at 10:30 A.M. <br />Mr. Locher reported that he and delivered the transcripts of the minutes <br />to the bond Attorney. There are a few minor details to be completed, but <br />these must wait for a delivery date. <br />Mr. Locher had checked the Letter of Agreement from the Metropolitan Waste <br />Control Commission and had found only one area that he questioned. This <br />was the area of repairs being done by the City on the MWCC equipment. <br />The City would be reimbursed on a 50/50 basis. There was some discussion <br />on this. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve this contract and to authorize the Mayor and <br />Clerk to sign the agreement. Seconded by Mr, Kulaszewicz. Motion <br />declared passed. <br />Mr. Locher said there was a deed for the Tot Lot in Sunset Oaks, This <br />will be verified as to the legal description before acceptance. <br />On the matter of assisting Circle Pines to collect unpaid gas bills, Mr, <br />Locher reported there is no legal means for this City to participate. <br />He felt the only way is to get special legislation. <br />Mr. Zelinka will recommend this course of action at the next Utility <br />Commission meeting and Mr. Zelijka moved that Mr. Schumacher wirte a letter <br />of support for any action that circle Pines may take in the area of <br />special legislation with copies to go to Lino Lakes Senator and <br />Representative. Seocnded by MR. Kulaszewicz, Motion declared passed. <br />There was discussion on the offer of the Corps of Engineers to assist in <br />the clean up of the Park on 7th avenue. More on this at a later date. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve the use of the Hall on January 22, 1980 by <br />the DFL. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. McLean moved to adjourn at 10:55 P.M.
