COUNCIL MINUTES May 12, 2014 <br />DRAFT <br />91 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />92 <br />93 A) Second Reading of Ordinance No. 05 -14, Rezoning Property from R -Rural to R -1, <br />94 Single Family Residential for Talan Ridge — Community Development Director Michael Grochala <br />95 noted that this three -lot residential subdivision received preliminary plat approval as well as approval <br />96 of the first reading of Ordinance No. 05 -14 at a previous council meeting. Staff is now <br />97 recommending approval of the 2nd reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 05 -14. <br />98 <br />99 Council Member Stoesz asked if there is any new information about drainage in the area of this <br />100 development and Mr. Grochala explained that staff has reviewed the site again and will be working <br />101 on ditch improvements as they are able to program them. The mayor noted that the residents in the <br />102 area have received a full report from the City Engineer on his findings of sufficient drainage and have <br />103 heard that the city will stand behind that information in the future. <br />104 <br />105 Council Member Roeser moved to waive the full reading of Ordinance No. 05 -14. Council Member <br />106 Kusterman seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br />107 <br />108 Council Member Roeser moved to approve the second reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 05 -14 <br />109 as presented. Council Member Kusterman seconded the motion.
