CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14-120 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE 2014 <br />SURFACE WATER MANAGEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant quotes sent to Arnt Construction, CW Houle Construction, Penn <br />Contracting, Belaire Construction and Rum River Contracting. Arnt Construction, Penn <br />Contracting, Belaire Construction and Rum River Contracting did not submit a quote. CW Houle <br />Construction submitted a quote in the amount of $55,120.45. The engineers estimate for the <br />project was $57,500. <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that CW Houle Construction is the lowest responsible bidder; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes the <br />Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with CW Houle <br />Construction, in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the 2014 Surface Water <br />Management Project according to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council and on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this day of , 2014. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />and was duly seconded by Council Member and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
