Council Member Carlson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07 -193 <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING ANOKA COUNTY'S PURSUIT OF <br />FUNDING FOR THE RICE CREEK NORTH REGIONAL TRAIL <br />• <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County is seeking additional funding for the development of the Rice <br />Creek North Regional Trail, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes and Anoka County continue to coordinate their <br />efforts in improving the use and access to parks and trails within the community, and <br />WHEREAS, the Rice Creek North Regional Trail project will also help address safety <br />and mobility issues occurring in our rapidly growing area, and <br />WHEREAS, the attached letter signed by Mayor Bergeson (dated November 26, 2007) <br />confirms our support for this important trail project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City of Lino Lakes hereby offers its support <br />for Anoka County's pursuit of funding for the Rice Creek North Regional Trail. <br />ADOPTED by the Lino Lakes City Council this 26th day of November, 2007. <br />i nne Bartell, City Jerk <br />on <br />ell, Acting Mayor <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member clip I-fz and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />ereof: <br />yt',yl r . fi i t z� ) i I >avvr a <br />The following voted a ainst same: <br />(ibs -F wt- eil acv,) <br />Whereupon said resolution wadeclared duly passed and adopted. <br />
