Peltier View Plat - Mr. Schumacher explained that the developer has started construction on this plat and a letter has been prepared by TKDA reviewing the proposed construction and plans. The developer has requested to be allowed to construct the street ac- cording to the standards enforced at the time the plat was origi- nally accepted by the City. Mr. Hawkins told the Council that if the developer does not now have an investment in the roads the Council can impose the present standard. Mr. Marier moved that the developer comply with present ordinances and the letter dated July 17, 1986 from TKDA. Mr. Bohjanen secon- ded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. E. Set Public Hearing - Rice Lake Estates Assessment, September 8, 1986, 7:30 P.M. Mr. Bohjanen moved to set this public hearing. Mr. Reinert seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Res. #22 -86. F. Sale of Maple Street Lots - Mr. Schumacher outlined the previous sales in this area. They are considerably higher than what has been bid. Mr. Volk has outlined a need for retaining an additional 20' easement to construct a proper turn around since Maple Street will end at the west end of the lot. Mr. Kluegel has indicated that if a twenty foot easement is retained this will make the lot unbuild- able since there will not be enough room for a house and a septic system. After further discussion, Mr. Reinert moved to wait with the sale of this lot until Maple Street is extended to Nordin Street. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. G. Financial Status of Comprehensive Plan - Mr. Schumacher ex- plained that there is $9,000.00 budgeted in 1986 for the completion of the Comprehensive Plan. To date $14,376 has been spent and there are at least two more meetings planned. He is concerned be- cause a document still has to be prepared to encompass all the ma- terial. Mr. Schumacher was directed to set up guidelines for the Task Force and the Planning and Zoning Board. These guidelines will include that all requests for consultant work will be made through the Administrator. Mr. Schumacher will inform these two committees of the Council's directive. NEW BUSINESS A. 1987 - 1989 Community Development Block Grant Funding - Mr. Schu- macher asked for authorization to become involved in the CDBG pro- gram for 1987 -1989. Mr. Reinert moved to approve this request. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
