• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />Resolution No. 10 - 87 <br />A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDING <br />FOR THE CITY OF LINO LAKES FOR FUNDING YEAR 1987 - 1988 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes is anticipating receiving Comm- <br />unity Development Block Grant Funds in funding year <br />1987 - 1988 and, <br />WHEREAS, the City is in the process of extending utilities <br />based on the City's Comprehensive Planning needs and, <br />WHEREAS, certain residents within these assessable areas meet <br />Housing and Urban Development low and moderate income <br />guidelines and, <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Lino Lakes City Council to <br />assist those residents with assistance through the <br />use of C.D.G.B. funds and, <br />WHEREAS, The Lino Lakes City Council also supports the exten- <br />sion of the Senior Citizens Center Coordinator Pro- <br />gram which has been funded through the C.D.G.B. since <br />its inception, <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council also supports the program <br />and general operation of Alexandra House, <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: <br />1. That the Lino Lakes City Council hereby requests that app- <br />roximately $20,000 of its 1987 - 1988 C.D.G.B. funds be <br />dedicated to the payment of area assessments for those re- <br />sidents who qualify under H.U.D. low and moderate income <br />guidelines. <br />2. That the Lino Lakes City Council also requests $3,900 of <br />its 1987 - 1988 C.D.G.B. funds be used for funding the Senior <br />Center Coordinator's salary in promoting the Centers activ- <br />ities, programs, and general operation. <br />3. That the Lino Lakes City Council hereby requests that up to <br />$3,000 of its 1987 - 1988 C.D.G.B. funds be used in support- <br />ing the Alexandra House programs and operation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 23rd day of March, 1987. <br />Mar <br />lyn G.
