D�� u�v <br />0UNCIL MEETING <br />MARCH 23, 1987 <br />Mr' Cusick explained the proposed resolution for the Council. <br />Basically it provides a method of determining the number of directors <br />on the Cable Commission. It also describes the method of financial <br />contributions by each Member in support of the Commission. Mr, <br />Reinert asked Mr' Cusick if the cable system has as many hookups as <br />anticipated originally' Mr. Cusick said no but this is a trend in <br />Minnesota not in just this area. <br />Mr' Marier moved to adopt Resolution No' ll - 87 and dispense with the <br />reading' Mr. Reinert seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF 4N0K4 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Resolution No' 11 - 87 <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING BY SUBSTITUTION ARTICLE VI, SECTION I AND ARTICLE <br />%, SECTION 3 OF THE NORTH CENTRAL SUBURBAN CABLE COMMUNICATIONS <br />COMMISSION II JOINT AND COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT FOR THE ADMINISTRATION <br />OF A CABLE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM' <br />WHEREAS, the City of Linn Lakes, (hereinafter "City") is an existing <br />member of the North Central Suburban Cable Communications <br />Commission II (hereinafter "Commission"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission has made recommended amendments to the Joint <br />and Cooperative Agreement For the Administration Of a Cable <br />Communications System (hereinafter "Agreement") relating <br />to the voting structure of the Commission and the financial <br />contributions of the Members; and <br />WHEREAS, the City believes it to be in its best interest to amend the <br />Agreement as recommended by Commission; <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes amends by substitution the existing Agreement as follows: <br />1. Article VI, Section 1 is amended in its entirety as follows: <br />Section l' Each Member shall be entitled to one (l) <br />director to represent it on the Commission' Each director <br />is entitled to one vote for each 500 subscribers or <br />fraction thereof to the cable system located in the <br />municipality represented by the director; provided, <br />however, that each director shall have at least one <br />Page 2 <br />1 <br />
