126 <br />COUNCIL MEETING MAY 26, 1987 <br />chambers of the city hall by the City Clerk and City <br />Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by <br />the Council at 7:00 P.M. on July 13, 1987 in the council <br />chambers. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned <br />during consideration of the bid will be given an opport- <br />unity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility <br />No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with <br />the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's <br />check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk <br />for 5% of the amount of such bid. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes C.,i_•uncil this 26th day of May, 1987. <br />r <br />Benjamin <br />Anderson, Clerk - Treasurer <br />ATTORNEY'S REPORT - BILL HAWKINS <br />Mr. Hawkins did not have a report. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />enson, ayor <br />Authorizing Lino Lakes portion of $1,000 for Fire Relief Association <br />Amendments - Mr. Reinert moved to pay Lino Lake's portion of the Fire <br />Relief Assn. Amendment. Mr. Marier seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Status Report - Roland Ford - Mr. Kluegel noted that he has had <br />another complaint signed by the County Judge against Mr. Ford. He <br />also noted that the County Attorney will also be filing a formal <br />complaint. <br />Metropolitan Council Comprehensive Plan Review - Mr. Schumacher said <br />he has met with Metro Council representatives and they are not in <br />agreement with the proposed Comprehensive Plan Update. Metro is <br />continuing to require one dwelling unit per ten acres. They are not <br />going to change their position on one acre and two and one half acre <br />lots. It was pointed out to them that their representative attended <br />several meetings where this issue was discussed and he did not see a <br />problem at that time. Mr. Reinert asked how they expect communities <br />to expand their tax base if Metro does not give a reasonable response <br />PAGE 10 <br />1 <br />
