• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />Resolution No. 37 - 87 <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPAR- <br />ATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR THE IMPROVEMENT ON DEER PASS <br />TRAIL. <br />WHEREAS, costs have been determined for the improvement of <br />the entire length of Deer Pass Trail, and this improve- <br />ment affects Lots 18 through 28 of the Otter Lake Hills <br />subdivision, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />• 2. <br />• <br />The portion of the cost of such improvement t-0 be paid <br />by the City is hereby declared to be zero and the port- <br />ion of the cost to be assessed against benefited prop- <br />erty owners is declared to be $19,848.00. <br />The City Engineer shall determine the credit to be <br />applied to certain lots who paid the 1974 construct- <br />ion costs. <br />3. Assessments shall be payable in equal annual install - <br />ments extending over a period of fifteen years, the <br />first installments to be payable on or before the <br />first Monday in January, 1988, and shall bear inter- <br />est at the rate of nine (9) per cent per annum from <br />the date of the adoption of the assessment resolution. <br />4. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Eng- <br />ineer shall forthwith calculate the proper amount <br />to be specially assessed for such improvement against <br />every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within <br />the district affected, without regard to cash valuat- <br />ion, as provided by law, and she shall file a copy <br />of such proposed assessment in her office for public <br />inspection. <br />5. The Clerk shall upon the completion of such proposed <br />assessment, notify the Council thereof. <br />Adopted by the Council this 24th day of August, 1987. <br />a ilyn .
