058 <br />for his treatment at the Blaine Council meeting last week at which <br />time Mr. Benson was commenting on the Ampitheatre. <br />Mr. Czech stated that he would be doing what he could as a new <br />member to the City Council to stop or relocate this facility. Mr. <br />Reinert commented that he was disappointed with Blaine's attitude <br />towards it surrounding communities. He felt that Lino Lakes and <br />Blaine had always had a good working relationship in the past. <br />Councilmen Bisel and Marier reiterated Mr. Reinerts assertion that <br />there has been a change of attitude. It was the concensus of the <br />Council that while they are in favor of development, they felt <br />that Blaine could have had more consideration for it's neighbors <br />in this respect. Mr. Bisel stated that cooperation is essential <br />for neighboring communities. Mr. Czech agreed. <br />Mayor Benson said he was concerned with a number of items that <br />have not been brought up by Blaine, such as the burden that will <br />be placed on the police , ambulance, fire etc... He then felt it <br />was necessary that we reaffirm our resolution requesting an EAW <br />for that project. Mayor Benson also stated that he had received a <br />call from Metro Council Chairman Steve Keefe requesting his input <br />on this topic. <br />Councilman Reinert moved that the Council reaffirm Resolution #47 <br />- 87 and send it back to Metro Council. Second by Councilman <br />Marier, the motion passed unanimously. <br />The Council thanked Mr Czech for appearing tonight. <br />AGENDA # 15. ADJOURNMENT <br />A motion was made for adjournment by Mr. Bisel, and seconded <br />by Bohjanen.
