EDAC Economic Development Plan- Community Development Grochala
explained that the City's Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) has sent
forward a proposed economic development plan for the council's review. He reviewed
the goals and objectives included in the plan. He noted, looking ahead, the group will
also be doing an inventory of what's out there to help meet the goals. Mayor Reinert
said he'd like to add the word "promote" to the "retain and expand" goal. Council
Member Stoesz wondered if the city could provide deferred utility payments as an
incentive to businesses.
