• CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 21 - 88 RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF A DRAINAGE REPORT FOR THE AREA THAT IS BOUNDED ON THE WEST BY SUNSET DRIVE, ON THE SOUTH BY NORTH ROAD, ON THE NORTH BY INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 35W, AND ON THE EAST BY HIGHWAY #49, WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has a policy to acquire orthophoto - contour maps to be used in long range planning; and WHEREAS, the Rice Creek Watershed District proposed 509 Plan requires that the City of Lino Lakes will be responsible for preparation of a City -wide drainage plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council of Lino Lakes has authorized preparation of a feasibility report for construction of 2nd Avenue; and WHEREAS, the City staff is currently reviewing a proposed 40 acre subdivision within the above described area; and • WHEREAS, permits for drainage facilities are required by the Rice Creek Watershed District, DNR and other agencies. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: 1. That the proposed improvement be referred to Engineer, Ron Stahlberg, for study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. 2. The City Attorney and the City Engineer are also directed to prepare easement descriptions and easement maps to be included with the drainage report. 3. The City Engineer is also directed to prepare permit applications and submit said applications to the appropriate review agency. 4. The City Engineer and City Administrator are also directed to prepare a financing policy for implementation of the drainage improvements. •
