• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 21 - 88 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF A DRAINAGE REPORT FOR THE AREA THAT IS <br />BOUNDED ON THE WEST BY SUNSET DRIVE, ON THE SOUTH BY NORTH ROAD, ON THE <br />NORTH BY INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 35W, AND ON THE EAST BY HIGHWAY #49, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has a policy to acquire orthophoto - contour <br />maps to be used in long range planning; and <br />WHEREAS, the Rice Creek Watershed District proposed 509 Plan requires that <br />the City of Lino Lakes will be responsible for preparation of a City -wide <br />drainage plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Lino Lakes has authorized preparation of a <br />feasibility report for construction of 2nd Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, the City staff is currently reviewing a proposed 40 acre <br />subdivision within the above described area; and <br />• WHEREAS, permits for drainage facilities are required by the Rice Creek <br />Watershed District, DNR and other agencies. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. That the proposed improvement be referred to Engineer, Ron Stahlberg, <br />for study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all <br />convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to <br />whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it <br />should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other <br />improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. <br />2. The City Attorney and the City Engineer are also directed to prepare <br />easement descriptions and easement maps to be included with the <br />drainage report. <br />3. The City Engineer is also directed to prepare permit applications and <br />submit said applications to the appropriate review agency. <br />4. The City Engineer and City Administrator are also directed to prepare <br />a financing policy for implementation of the drainage improvements. <br />• <br />
