• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 48 - 88 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CENTENNIAL FIRE DISTRICT TO ENTER INTO CONTRACTS <br />WITH STATE OF MINNESOTA AND COUNTY OF ANOKA TO PROVIDE FIRE PROTECTION <br />TO DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES, LINO STATE CORRECTIONAL FACILITY, <br />AND ANOKA COUNTY PARK SYSTEM <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the governing body of Lino Lakes, Minnesota as <br />follows: <br />Section 1. The State of Minnesota and the County of Anoka maintain and <br />operate facilities within the Centennial Fire District. Municipalities <br />are authorized by statute to send fire department equipment and personnel <br />to protect property in other jurisdictions, provided there is a contract, <br />and collect a charge for this service. Therefore, it is hereby determined <br />that it is in the best interest of the City to allow the Centennial Fire <br />District to contract for providing fire protection to the State Correc- <br />tional Facility located at Lino Lakes, to property under control of the <br />Department of Natural Resources, and property under the control of <br />boundaries of the District <br />Adopted by the City Council of Lino Lakes this 27th day of June, 1988. <br />' <br />Benjamin G.
