Tall, columnar trees or hedges shall be planted not more than 30 feet on center, and <br />may also be combined with walls or fences: <br />Connecting Walkways <br />Connecting Walkways must meet the following minimum requirements:. <br />Width and Clearance. The width of the paved walking surface must be at least six feet dear. Any <br />covered structure such as a trellis must have at least 10 feet dear height, but must not obstruct <br />visibility or provide hiding or ambush places. <br />Paving. Connecting walkways must be paved with a special paving or concrete in a pattern or <br />color that contrasts with the surrounding pavement, as specified under Public Improvements._ <br />Tree - Planting. Connecting walkways must be planted with either shade trees spaced <br />approximately 30 feet on center or a shade structure such as a trellis with climbing vines. <br />Lighting. Connecting walkways must be equipped with lighting on one side, at least 3 feet in <br />height in order to be visible in deep snow drifts or snow banks. Lighting standards spaced a <br />maximum of 30 feet apart, and a maximum of 15 feet tall, are recommended. <br />33 <br />
