CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 04 -14 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CIRCLE -LEX LIONS REQUEST <br />TO CONDUCT OFF -SITE GAMBLING <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute, Section 349 requires organizations to be licensed <br />by the Charitable Gambling Control Board, and <br />WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Lions Club has acquired said license, and <br />WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Lions Club has submitted an application to hold its annual <br />off -site gambling activity at St. Joseph Catholic Church on March 27, 2004, and <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Gambling Control Board requires the City of Lino Lakes <br />approve or deny this application by resolution, and <br />WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Lions Club is in compliance with City ordinance, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby <br />approves the off -site gambling activities of the Circle -Lex Lions Club being conducted at <br />St. Joseph Catholic Church. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 26th day of January, 2004 <br />ATTEST: <br />• <br />
