• <br />• <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 04-41 <br />AUTHORIZING SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT AND CABARET LICENSE <br />FOR STREET DANCE AT MILLER'S ON MAIN FOR AUGUST 20 & 21, 2004 <br />WHEREAS, Miller's on Main has requested permission to conduct a Street Dance on <br />August 20 & 21, 2004, and <br />WHEREAS, consistent with previous approval, and recognizing that successfully <br />implementing an event of this type requires ongoing communication between applicant <br />and Staff, therefore Staff recommends that conditions of approval be attached, and <br />incorporated herein, and <br />WHEREAS, Chad Wagner of Miller's on Main has submitted an application for a <br />Special Event Permit and a Cabaret License for a Street Dance event to be held on <br />August 20 & 21, 2004, and has agreed to address a checklist of concerns prior to the <br />event (Attachment A), and <br />WHEREAS, applicant has expressed a willingness to be bound to the conditions <br />recommended by Staff (Attachment B), and to continue to work with Staff to address <br />additional concerns which may arise, and <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends approval of this request also include the following <br />conditions of approval, which will be incorporated into the attachments: <br />-- Minimum of three 2A10BC fire extinguishers need to be on location in the tent area. <br />- - "No Smoking" signs need to be displayed throughout the area. <br />- -No pryotechnics are allowed. <br />- -No parking within 20 feet of the tent. Measured from stakes. <br />- -No open flames within 20 feet of tent. Measured from stakes. <br />-- Generator to be located at least 20 feet from tent. Measured from stakes. <br />-- Clearance to property line needed to 20 feet. Measured from stakes. <br />-- Certificate of flame retardant for all panels of tent. <br />- -Music shall cease at 12 midnight, and patrons shall clear the premises at 1 a.m. <br />- -First aid shall be available with sufficient access by the public <br />- -An entrance fee shall be charged and entrance shall be by wrist bands only <br />- -A map showing the stage location shall be provided to public safety and the fire <br />department <br />
