• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 04 - 66 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SOLICITOR'S /PEDDLERS LICENSE <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Rebecca Gomer, director of MN ACORN (Association of Community <br />Organizations for Reform Now) has submitted a solicitors /peddlers application to the city <br />clerk's office; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Rebecca Gomer has complied with all of the provisions of Chapter <br />612 of the Lino Lakes City Code for obtaining the necessary license for a non -profit <br />organization; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department has conducted a background check on <br />Ms. Gomer, the director and Mr. Marc Wermager, the canvasser /solicitor, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, by order of the Lino Lakes City Council, and virtue thereof, the <br />said organization, ACORN, is hereby authorized to solicit door to door in the City of <br />Lino Lakes for a period of six (6) months beginning May 25, 2004 subject to all <br />conditions and provisions of the Lino Lakes City Code, Chapter 612. <br />Passed by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 24thth day of May, 2004. <br />ATTEST: <br />Jo J. rgeson, Mayor <br />
