Studenski, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: May 24, 2004 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 04 -72, Authorizing Request to Advance Funds from <br />the City's Municipal State Aid Street Account <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple majority <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The street reconstruction portion of the Holly Drive Improvement project will be <br />funded mostly through Municipal State Aid. Funding will also come from the <br />Trapper's Crossing subdivision which was previously assessed $265,000.00 for <br />the road improvements. Surface Water Management and Trunk funds will <br />complete the funding for this project. The utility extensions will be minimal at this <br />time. <br />• The Municipal State Aid current balance is $1,372,774.26. After the reduction of <br />the total estimated disbursements ($2,709,056.33), the advance amount is <br />$1,336,282.07. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Adopt Resolution 04 -72, Authorizing Request to Advance Funds from the <br />City's Municipal State Aid Street Account. <br />2. Return to staff for further review. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option No. 1 - Staff recommends that Resolution No. 04 -72 be adopted. <br />• <br />
