• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 04-133 <br />RESOLUTION SETTING DATES FOR THE TRUTH IN TAXATION HEARINGS FOR THE <br />PROPOSED 2005 OPERATING BUDGET AND 2004 TAX LEVY COLLECTIBLE IN 2005 <br />WHEREAS, governmental entities are required to hold Truth in Taxation hearings to <br />receive public input on the proposed operating budget and tax levy; and, <br />WHEREAS, cities may not hold their hearings on the same dates as Counties and <br />School Districts; and, <br />WHEREAS, the first two Mondays in December have been set aside exclusively for <br />cities to hold their Truth in Taxation Hearings; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Lino Lakes wishes to set their Truth in Taxation <br />Hearings on these exclusive dates. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota, that: <br />1. The initial Truth in Taxation hearing date is hereby set for Monday, December 13, <br />2004, at 6:00 p.m. <br />2. A continuation hearing, if needed, is scheduled for Monday, December 20, 2004 at <br />6:00 p.m. with final adoption of the 2004 -2005 tax levy and 2005 general operating <br />budget immediately following the continuation hearing on December 20, 2004. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 13th day of September, 2004. <br />Ann JI =lair, City Clerk <br />
