Studenski, City Engineer
COUNCIL MEETING DATE: October 25, 2004
TOPIC: Resolution No. 04 -159, Adopting Assessments, Millers Crossroads
Development Project.
VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 Vote Required
BACKGROUND:
The Millers Crossroads Development Project is currently under construction, and
the first phase is nearing completion. The project provides for development of
property located at the southeast corner of Birch Street and Hodgson Road. In
the development agreement dated February 23, 2004, the property owner
waives any and all procedural and substantive objections to the installation of
City improvements and the special assessments. Phase 1 of the Millers
Crossroads Development is substantially complete and therefore, City Staff is
prepared to adopt the assessments.
The developer has reviewed and approved the assessments.
OPTIONS:
1. Adopt Resolution No. 04 -159, Adopting Assessments for the Millers
Crossroads Development Project.
2. Not Adopt Resolution No. 04 -159.
3. Return to staff for further review.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends Option No. 1.
