Studenski, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: October 25, 2004 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 04 -161, Adopting Assessments, Individual <br />Properties Which Requested Connection to City Utilities <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 Vote Required <br />BACKGROUND: <br />City Staff has received requests from several property owners to connect to city <br />utilities. Each resident has submitted a signed waiver, which waives their rights <br />to a hearing and waives their rights to appeal under the Lino Lake City Charter <br />and /or Minnesota Statute 429 provided that the assessment associated with the <br />improvement is levied against their property. A copy of the waivers is attached. <br />We are prepared to adopt the assessments for the following individual <br />properties, which requested connection to city utilities: <br />6592 Tart Court <br />501 Lilac Street <br />7702 Lake Drive <br />7698 Sunset Avenue <br />224 Ulmer Drive <br />789 Main Street <br />7776 Lake Drive <br />441 Birch Street <br />169 White Pine Road <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Adopt Resolution No. 04 -161, Adopting Assessments for Individual Properties <br />Which Requested Connection to City Utilities. <br />2. Not Adopt Resolution No. 04 -161. <br />3. Return to staff for further review. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends Option No. 1. <br />
