Studenski, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: November 8, 2004 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 04 -170, Approving Acquisition of Right -of- <br />Way /Easements, 62' Street Reconstruction Project <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority <br />BACKGROUND: <br />As part of the 62' Street Reconstruction Project, acquisition of additional right - <br />of -way and drainage /utility easements is necessary for the completion of the <br />street and storm sewer construction. <br />At the Special Closed Council Meeting on October 12, 2004, the Council <br />authorized an adjustment to the Melvin R. Rehbein property for a total of <br />$11,200.00. This number was in error by $50.00. The Stipulation and <br />Settlement As To Rehbein Parcel was for $11,250.00 as shown on the attached <br />agreement. <br />City Staff is requesting authorization for payment of acquisition for an additional <br />amount of $50.00 for the Melvin R. Rehbein property. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Adopt Resolution 04 -170, Approving Acquisition of Right -of- Way /Easements, <br />for Melvin R. Rehbein on the 62' Street Reconstruction Project. <br />2. Not Adopt Resolution No. 04 -170. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option No. 1 - Staff recommends that Resolution No. 04 -170 be adopted. <br />• <br />
