1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />COUNCIL MEETING AUGUST 22, 1988 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Benson at 7:00 P.M., August 22, <br />1988. Council Members present: Neal, Bisel, Bohjanen, <br />Reinert. Council Members absent: none. City Engineer, Ron <br />Stahlberg; Attorney, Bill Hawkins; Planner, John Miller; <br />Administrator, Randy Schumacher and Clerk- Treasurer Marilyn <br />Anderson were also present. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Work Session, August 8, 1988 - Mr. Bisel moved to approve <br />these minutes as presented. Mr. Neal seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Regular Session, August 8, 1988 - Mr. Bohjanen moved to <br />approve these minutes as presented. Mr. Bisel seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS - AUGUST 22, <br />1.988 <br />Mr. Bisel moved to approve these disbursements as presented. <br />Mr. Neal seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />Richard Fenno, 7172 Rice Lake Drive - Mr. Fenno asked if a <br />Council votes immediately following the close of a public <br />hearing. It was explained that the Council receives public <br />testimony at the hearing. The hearing can be continued for <br />further testimony or further information requested by the <br />Council or a vote can immediately be taken. <br />Donna Carlson, 6808 East Shadow Lake Drive, Holding Ponds ij <br />Lakes Addition No. 3 - Mrs. Carlson has contacted Mayor <br />Benson and several city hall staff members regarding the <br />condition of the ponds behind her home and completion of the <br />requirements Regency Homes was to have completed as outlined <br />in 1985. <br />Mr. Uhde explained that he had purchased twenty nine lots in <br />Lakes Addition No. 3 and after considerable mitigation with <br />the DNR gave up two lots to increase the wetland areas. He <br />placed covenants on the lots and entered into a developers <br />PAGE 1 <br />173 <br />
