COUNCIL MINUTES <br />APRIL 9, 1990 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called <br />to order by Mayor Bisel at 7:00 P.M., Monday, April 9, 1990. <br />Council Members present: Bohjanen, Reinert, Kuether and <br />Neal. Council Members absent: none. City Attorney, Bill <br />Hawkins; Engineer's, Dan Boxrud and Darrell Schneider; Public <br />Works Director, Don Volk; Administrator, Randy Schumacher and <br />Clerk- Treasurer, Marilyn Anderson were also present. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Work Session, March 26, 1990 - Council Member Neal moved to <br />approve these minutes as presented. Council Member Kuether <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried with Council Member <br />Bohjanen abstaining. <br />Regular Session, March 26, 1990 - Council Member Neal moved <br />to approve these minutes as presented. Council Member <br />Reinert seconded the motion. Motion carried with Council <br />Member Bohjanen abstaining. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS <br />March 30, 1990 - Council Member Neal asked if there was a <br />duplication of a disbursement for Graphic Science since it is <br />listed on both the March 30th and April 9th Disbursement <br />listing for the same dollar figure. Mr. Schumacher will <br />check this with the Accounts Payable Clerk. Council Member <br />Reinert asked what root graft is. Mr. Volk explained that <br />it is the procedure to control the spread of Oak Wilt <br />disease. He noted that a machine cuts the roots that have <br />spread between two trees thereby halting the spread of the <br />disease. The City contracts to have the procedure done on <br />private lands and then the City bills the landowner. Last <br />fall several land owners were over billed for the procedure. <br />Council Member Bohjanen moved to approve the disbursement and <br />to check the payment to Graphic Science. Council Member Neal <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />April 9, 1990 - Council Member Neal moved to approve these <br />disbursements as presented. Council Member Kuether seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Centennial Fire Department - Council Member Neal moved to <br />approve these disbursements as presented. Council Member <br />Bohjanen seconded the motion. Mayor Bisel noted that the new <br />format for presenting these disbursements is much easier to <br />follow.
