COUNCIL MEETING <br />OCTOBER 10, 1988 <br />Joint Powers Agreement. Mr. Neal seconded the motion. Mr. <br />Reinert asked that Mr. Cody address such questions as what <br />is Lino Lakes obligation, how can Lino Lakes get out of it, <br />and what happens if we do not come an agreement with <br />Centerville on the fire station matter. Voting on the <br />motion, motion carried unanimously. <br />Tax Forfeit Lots, Lakes Addition No. 3 - As the Council <br />requested, advertisements were placed for the sale of two <br />lots in Lakes Addition No. 3. Only one bid was received <br />from Regency Homes. Mrs. Anderson explained that she has <br />not received confirmation from the County on the cost of the <br />lots and recommended that the Council approve the bids <br />contigent upon the cost of the lot being less than the bid. <br />Mr. Bisel moved to accept the Regency Home Bid of $16,000 <br />per lot contigent upon Mrs. Anderson receiving confirmation <br />that the lots can be purchased by the City from Anoka County <br />for less than $16,000.00 or the bidder having the option to <br />increase his bid to $17,000.00 if his current bid does not <br />cover costs. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Bisel moved to adjourn at 11:20 P.M. Mr. Neal seconded <br />the motion.
