The eligibility list for the Community
Service Officer has been reviewed from last year and one (1)
candidate is currently interested in the position and has
excellent background qualifications for the position. Chief
Campbell explained the candidates background regarding crime
prevention and clerical experience and noted that this candidate
would not use the position as a "stepping- stone" to a variety of
other law enforcement positions. Chief Campbell recommended that
the City Council offer the CSO position to the most qualified
candidate on the current eligibility list, Jeannie Kenow.
Council Member Reinert moved to approve Chief Campbell's
recommendation and offer the position to Jeannie Kenow.
