NOVEMBER 5, 1975 <br />A Special Meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at 8:00 P.M. <br />by Mayor Bohjanen on November 5, 1975. Council members present: Jaworski, <br />Marier, McLean and Zelinka. Absent: None. <br />Mr. Marier interrupted the roll call to asked the Clerk to state his title, <br />name and address. After she had recited the title, name and address to Mr. <br />Marier's apparant satisfaction, he requested this to be entered in these <br />minutes: Council Member Donald R. Marier <br />1801 East 77th Street <br />Hugo, Minnesota 55038 <br />Mr. Marier says that he is not receiving his mail and feels this is due to <br />inefficiency in the Clerk's Office. The Clerk's Office has not received any <br />complaints of this type except from Mr. Marier. <br />Mayor Bohjanen noted this meeting was called for the purpose of canvassing <br />the ballots cast in the Municipal election held on November 4, 1975. Mayor <br />Bohjanen requested the Clerk to read the totals as certified to her by the <br />Election Judges. Marier 4 <br />Mr. John Doe 1 <br />Mr. John Brown 1 <br />Mr. John Smith 1 <br />Mr. Randy Wringerman 1 <br />There was a total of 733 voters with one blank ballot. <br />Mr. Zelinka asked if there were any questions as to the number of votes <br />cast. There was none. <br />Mr. Marier also questioned the Clerk as to the time the polls opened on <br />November 4, 1975. She said at 7:00 A.M. Mr. Marier said that the doors <br />were locked at 7:01 A.M. when he came to vote. This time was according <br />to Mr. Marier's watch. The Clerk said she does not open the polls nor <br />does she close the polls, this is the duties of the Election Judges. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to certify the Election Judge's count of the Ballots cast <br />in the November 4, 1975 Municipal Election and to transmit the results to the <br />Anoka County Auditor's Office. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 8:07 P.M. Seconded by Mr. McLean.
