Mrs. Zelinka asked Chief
Myhre to explain the useage of the items.
Chief Myhre said the one piece is used for exactly what it looks like -
a giant can opener. They would like the opportunity to try and assist.
Mayor Bohjanen thanked her for the gift and for the offer to assist
the Council and the community.
Mayor Bohjanen proceeded with the appointments for the year 1976. Seconded by Mr. Schneider. Motion carried.
Mr. Kelling explained that he has basically completed the 1976 assess-
ment and work on the 1977 assessment will not begin until around July.
He would ask that by that time the City has someone to take the position.
He will be glad to train them and will assist in any way he can. There
was discussion of appointing Mr. Kelling as temporary assessor.
Mr. Zelinka arrived at 8:25 P.M.
The general consensus of the Council was that Mr. Kelling could resign
the position at his convience.
