• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03-59 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FUNDS FOR <br />SITE PLAN AND MARKET ANALYSIS OF PROPERTIES ON 35E <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has identified the I -35E corridor for future <br />commercial and industrial development as part of its Comprehensive Plan; <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County officials have been meeting with representatives of the <br />Vikings and other developers to discuss opportunities for development within the <br />County; <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County, working with KKE Architects, has completed a concept plan <br />that is comprised of commercial and industrial development, a hotel/conference center, <br />corporate headquarters, a stadium and housing; <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County has requested financial participation in the amount of $7,000 <br />from Lino Lakes, Blaine and Columbus Township for the purpose of completing site - <br />specific plans and a market study to determine which site would be most suitable for such <br />development; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA that an amount not to exceed $7,000 is authorized from <br />the Economic Development budget to assist Anoka County in the preparation of the site <br />plans and market study. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 28th day of April, 2003. <br />
