Studenski, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: July 14, 2003 <br />TOPIC: PUBLIC HEARING - Resolution No 03 -97, Adopting Proposed <br />Assessment Roll, EIm Street Reconstruction Project <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 Vote Required <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On June 23, 2003, the City Council set the Public Hearing for the proposed <br />assessments for the EIm Street Reconstruction project. The necessary notices <br />have been mailed to property owners indicating the amount of the assessment <br />and the date of the hearing. <br />Summaries of the project costs and assessments are attached. Project costs are <br />as projected in the feasibility report at a total cost of $2,490,000.00. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1 Adopt Resolution 03 -97, Adopting Proposed Assessment Roll for the EIm <br />Street Reconstruction Project. <br />2. Not Adopt Resolution No 03 -97. <br />3. Return to staff for further review. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option No 1 Staff recommends that Resolution No 03 -97 be adopted. <br />
