206 <br />January 22, 1979 <br />for Mr, Forrest Tagg, Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion declared <br />passed. <br />Mr. McLean moved to set a public hearing at 8:30 P.M. on February 12, 1979 <br />1979 on the rezoning application of El Rehbein & Son for lands in the <br />7800 block on Lake Drive. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion-- declared <br />passed. <br />A preliminary plat for Quads in the Country Lakes Addition had been <br />discussed and tabled for futher information. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve the plat of Oak Knoll and set a public <br />hearing at 8:45 P.M. on Feb. 12, 1979. Seconded by Mr. Schneider. <br />Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. McLean moved to table Mr. Mobley's application for rezoning until <br />the fees are paid. Seconded by Mr. Schneider. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Swenson was advised to have a street platted into his lot and pre- <br />pare a new sketch giving each parcel the necessary frontage. <br />Mr. McLean moved that all applications for action requiring fees be paid <br />before forwarding to the Planning and Zoning Board for consideration. <br />Seconded by Mr. Schneider. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. McLean presented sample plaques for Council consideration. The color <br />blue was chosen as a background with the larger lettering. Mr. McLean <br />moved to purchase the necessary placques for terms expiring in 1977 <br />forward. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Don Carley presented the feasibility report for utility service on <br />Black Duck Drive and with a suggestion of perhaps relocating a portion <br />of that street. Mr. McLean moved to authorize the Engineer to pursue <br />this study to includerevision as suggested and the possibility of <br />eliminating the green space now existing. Seconded by MR. Schneider <br />Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Carley will have this information for the second meeting in February. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve the Forest Lake Times as the legal newspaper <br />for the City. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion declared passed with Mr. <br />Kulaszewicz voting, No. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to pursue with the Circluating Pines a cost figure for <br />publication of public hearings as advertising space not as a legal pub- <br />lication. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve requisitions #889, 891, 892,893, and to hold <br />#888 and 890. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve checks #9386 through and including #9413. <br />Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. McLean moved to adjourn at 10:15 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. <br />Aye. <br />These minutes were corrected and approved at the regular Council meeting <br />held on February 12, 1979 <br />1 <br />
