1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />COUNCIL MEETING APRIL 22, 1991 <br />that the Allen's connect to the sanitary sewer. <br />Council Member Reinert said he felt if two (2) commitments could <br />be made, the Allen's should be connected to the sanitary sewer by <br />using some revolving funds. <br />After discussing methods to implement the assessment, whether or <br />not all or a portion of the Giocke assessment could be delayed <br />and if there were assessment deferments, Council Member Bohjanen <br />moved to adopt Resolution No. 37 - 91 and order a feasibility <br />report contingent upon two (2) parties agreeing to accept an <br />assessment. Council Member Kuether seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried unanimously. Resolution No. 37 - 91 can be found at the <br />end of these minutes. <br />Resolution No. 34 - 91 Accepting Bids for Reshanau Lake Trunk <br />Sewer Improvement - Mr. Schneider explained that bids had been <br />received for this improvement on April 19, 1991. The bids were <br />very good, the apparent winning contractor is very good. <br />However, Metropolitan Waste Control would like an opportunity to <br />consider the bids since the may assume the cost for Division III <br />of the improvement. Council Member Bohjanen moved to table this <br />item. Council Member Reinert seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 35 - 91 Accepting Bids for Brandywood Estates and <br />White Tail Ridge and Resolution No. 36 - 91 Accepting Bids on <br />White Trail Ridge Grading - Mr. Boxrud explained that bids were <br />received for this improvement on April 19, 1991. Four (4) of the <br />eight (8) bids received were below the engineer's estimate. The <br />low bidder is the same low bidder on the Reshanau Lake Trunk <br />Sewer Improvement. Quotations for the grading of White Tail <br />Ridge were solicited separately. The quotation from Arnt <br />Construction, Inc. for $12,007.00 was the lowest quote. <br />Necessary easements will be obtained for this improvement. Mr. <br />and Mrs. Katzung expressed a concern regarding the removal of <br />trees. A response will be prepared by the City Attorney, City <br />Administrator and City Engineer.
